One thing I've learned with ETC is that you never know what "wide open throttle" really means.

I've had an LS2 GTO (with ETC) and an LS1 GTO (with cable), and personal experience and data logs show that with the LS2, you might push the pedal to the floor, but the butterfly might only be opening to 80%, or fluctuating back and forth as the computer sees fit. With the cable, you put your foot down, and there's no doubt that the throttle is wide open. Maybe a bit of a small issue, since the computer usually is able to figure that stuff out pretty well, but it never sat right with me that it was only opening to 80%, even under WOT.
