Here are pics of my jl audio 10w3v3-4 and my jl hd900/5 am installed in the trunk.
Yeah, that looks really nice! I would consider a grate or cover on it. With such a small trunk, I wouldn't want to risk damaging it leaving the cone exposed!

This is my second car not much will go in the trunk after i add my air ride system in it. If i need to transport anything it will go in the back seat or i will put the rear seat down and put stuff on it.

Ok so I am tired of waiting for oem that is already almost 2 quarters late with no word.

So I have a jl 10w6 that needs a rubber replacement and I have 2 jl 12w6's which I think just one will do just fine. What recommendations do you guys have for how to set up an easy stock appearance trunk? I would like to use one of my 12w6's but would need to buy a new amp instead of my 1000v2. There aren't really any good shops around here so I would be doing it myself. Only problem is I have no idea how to use fiberglass or the best way to add a sub with the stock HU.

Any recommendations, input, or if your in NC we could meet up and I'll pay for your accommodations while we build a setup together.

The Reference Series (Full Upgrade) is projected to be available this summer. This option will not include sound deadening; Because the System is tuned for the acoustics of the car (Taking into factors such as road noise, rattles, clipping, etc..) sound Deadening is not needed for the O+ signature sound reproduction. Though sound deadening is applicable if desiring to reduce road noise in general.[/QUOTE]

What will the Reference Series include????????

Replacement speakers for door and rear, plus applicable DSP reprogramming. I spoke with them after my install and they said they're working on a couple really cool things.

Called the dealer as I just picked up my car a few weeks ago and asked when I could have it installed... They called back and said that they still can't order the sub. I have already paid for it and he said they have no clue when it should arrive.

Pretty lame. I simply want a slight improvement with the ability to pull it out when I need the space or remove weight.

Like xjohnx said, Reference 400CF for the BRZ/FRS will include front and back Carbon Fiber Cone speaker replacements, 2 Amps (32-bit DSP Amplifier and Dedicated Sub Amplifier) Quick-Sync Wiring Harness (OEM / Factory connectors) // As seen in PASMAG April/May 2013

The System 400+ is fully compatible for the Subaru BRZ; Specify Vehicle/Radio when ordering. Installation is identical.

The last thing the dealer wants to do is give you a refund, but they may hook you up with a set-up at a local audio shop instead...$500 can buy pretty decent aftermarket sub and amp....
