nope, no scraping here. The only issue with the back being so low (and that its a sleeved bag), is that its maximum height isn't as great. So in order to make it look normal I have to have the front lower a bit, but it still has a gap between the tires and fenders.

Anyways aside from your choice of name, pretty cool car! My friend is getting a fancy air ride setup for his A4, so I'll get to experience this new generation of air suspension first hand.
thats hysterical. I didn't choose the name, the girlfriend did. Now i'm going to pimp smack her

Let me know what you think when he gets it set up!

Needs moar low! JK. So far, I really like it. can't wait to see it with a bit wider stance on the corners. I normally don't take well to cars that low, but that actually looks undeniably good.

Is it any different with the air suspension?

Thanks! My wheels will hopefully be done this week or next, so soon.

what do you mean any different? The car drives very smooth on my driving setting. Big bumps are a little more harsh but thats expected. I'm very please with it so far.

Not to mention, we got about 6" of snow last night into today. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to make it out of my driveway, but all I had to do was air all the way up and I cruised right over the snow

I'm very lucky actually because the main snow plows went down the road and created a wall at the top of my driveway that was higher than the amount of snow we actually got. If I didn't have air i would have smashed my bumper or not been able to get out without shoveling it.

Love it. Glad I'm not the only one who is (planning for me now until I get my BRZ) running air. I have static coils on my WRX and while they're great the advances in air suspension is seemingly too good to pass up. I'm going to have to message you once I get closer to picking up my BRZ (patiently waiting on a 2014).

Again, looks great!

Definitely man, hit me up and i'd be glad to help.

Should be installing my newly acquired Kartboy Short Shifter today.

Installed Whiteline rear crossmember & transmission bushings (thanks to the GF ) last weekend. Crossmember bushings make a big difference in that slop you get when punching the gas. I didn't really notice anything from the tranny bushing other than some slight noise. You only notice it when slowing down almost to a stop, or just taking off. It almost sounds like a scraping sound but its nothing too bad. I haven't really shifted hard or anything since then so maybe it will improve that..will have to check on it.

Password JDM lip is going in for paint this weekend.

Kartboy Shifter Impressions:

I was pretty partial to the stock setup, but man, did I miss a short shifter. I was used to this from my previous STi, but I honestly thought the shifts in the BRZ were just basically perfect in stock form. Now it truly is perfect!. Shifts are nice and short, the shifter is angled back a bit further than stock so it feels way more comfortable. If you are thinking about getting this shifter, do not hesitate.

Dropped my PWJDM lip off friday. All painted, just waiting to pick it up tomorrow night. I'm hoping the calls I made regarding how its painted pays off. We will see.

Love the car!

1 question though: Why buy a CF Front lip, then paint it? I mean, the front lip is bound to get butchered-up anyway, so why the CF route?

Just wondering. If the answer is "I had money to blow", then disregard this lol

Well honestly, I like the look of the lip, but i'm a fan of everything being paint matched. To me a black lip/carbon lip just throws the look off a bit. Since the lip is a three piece lip though, I am just painting the two side pieces, and keeping the center section carbon.

its weird, I am not a fan of carbon yet I seem to keep buying carbon parts

Went to pick my lip up last night but it wasn't ready. My painter had it all finished, but there were tiny pinhole sized pores in the clear/carbon on the lip. When he finished painting it, it looked like there was dust particles under the clear because you could see the holes

Hes resanding down and repainting the whole thing. Won't have it till friday or saturday..but no biggie.

Ordered some @Zeta Performance Window visors yesterday. Looking forward to those! I had JDM rainguards on my STi and they were one of my favorite aftermarket parts. Just sucks Subaru didn't step up and offer any kind of rainguard. The ones they made for 02-07 wrx/sti with the framless doors were really sleek looking. Was hoping they would do the same for the BRZ as I think the TRD ones are a tad bit too bulky, but Zeta's price was too good to pass up. We will see.
