I think a Release Series with the WRB colour would be awesome. I would buy that immediately.
I guess all I want is a BRZ Limited, but with the suspension setup and front end of the FR-S, or really just and FR-S with the cool things from the BRZ.

So you just want the high spec JDM/euro 86? I always wondered about just having an 86 bumper painted in WRB and throwing it on my car. Anyway, there's no way in hell subaru would allow them to use that color

But that's exactly what getting silver now would be - "following in the footsteps" of a (now-played-out) fad... the percentage of silver cars on the road right now is very high and will remain so for years given the longer average lifetime of recent cars. Not following a fad is different from being late for it.

Basically, yes. I just want the high spec Euro 86. I just wish Scion would at least give us those features as an option (I really really wish I could have a push button start on the FR-S).
Plus, I really don't mind the Scion logos as much as everyone else seems to. I think it looks a little better then the 3 ovals in the Toyota badge.

For reference, the latest release series tC added a body kit, TRD exhaust, TRD lowering springs, and other minor misc items for an added 3k in MSRP. That's why I don't see the release series actually adding any of the TRD parts with the exception of the lower springs. Otherwise, they're pushing the price of the car to about 4k or more above a standard FRS, which by then would be out of the price range for their brand target demographic
Interesting info. But as I expected, Scion is likely only going to offer it in a single color that I do not want and load it up with a bunch of other junk I do not want. All I really want is those Toyota 86 HID/LED headlamps on a red car (as well as fog lights and GPS nav/XM radio options). Grrr...

Damn there is a lot of hating on Silver going on in this thread. I guess that I just don't get it. I think that the BRZ/FR-S both look great in silver.

Lucky for all of us they make them in many colors so that we can each get the color that we prefer.

To each his own but I think that these cars look great in all colors. To me silver is a bit more on the classy side and will not attract the POLICE like a magnet as much as some of the more LOUD colors will.

Speaking for those of us the are mid to late 30's "Less is More" has a meaning that I probably couldn't have understood when I was younger.

Silver has been a classic, timeless color for sports cars for a long time. Calling silver sports cars a fad is about as retarded as saying red sports cars are a fad.

Take all the colors on a cross country trip, wash them and look at the paint. Silver will show the least amount of flaws.

What's retarded is not understanding what was plainly said. I was talking about cars in general, not sports cars exclusively. Learn to read.
