I'm still on my first tank of gas from the dealer and the MPG indicator reads 17.4. LOL
doing a "smooth but hard" break in ala motoman.

Yeah I think they give you 87 lmfao. My mpg indicator was at 16 until I dumped gas again and I went up to 19-20 right away

For the past five or six fill ups I've been using Shell 91 and weirdly the chirps have completely stopped.

I've been use mainly Shell 91 as well since its really close to my house and fairly cheaper than any other shell/chevron stations. I have dumped Mobil when it wasn't possible for me to get shell

With regards to the gasoline, I too have noticed no chirping after fuel-ups on Shell. Currently have Costco in my tank and no chirping. I'll try to remember to get 76 on my next fuel up and see.

I fill up with shell and I have chirping. In all honesty, I've heard of the problem but never noticed it on my car til like 2 says ago (never knew what it sounded like)...I'm at ~2500 miles now. It doesn't bother me at all lol.

Distance: 88-100 miles per day 5 days a week
Current Miles: 10,478

City/Highway: 30/70
Traffic (Yes/No)(If Yes, How much traffic): YES; 30 minutes worth on way home. 1 hour to work and 1 1/2 hours home.
Automatic/Manual: MANUAL!!!

Envious how fewer miles everyone else seems to drive per day. Leaving Camp Pendleton to drive home to Hemet and I get traffic in Fallbrook and the 15N.
