The point to put aftermarket parts on a car is to improve, not to worsen
Toyota spent many hours of R&D on the suspension of the 86, and it is a car known to have exceptional handling in stock form I dont even trust some $999 coilovers on this car, let alone $130 springs with unknown spring rate, R&D time, manufacturing and build quality, etc etc

As someone who has a little bit of product development experience in the automotive aftermarket I can tell you that the unit cost to manufacture a good set of quality lowering springs is close to that price. These brandless springs are being sold for $130 by a "vendor" no one has ever heard of and who felt compelled to invoke Japan in his product description. Buyer beware. Supporting vendors that support your community is always your best bet.

They're probably heat treated by some guy with a propane torch and a bottle of water. Not to mention who knows what the actual spring rates are. I'd be willing to bet that there are large differences between individual springs. If you want cheap shit, buy it. Otherwise spend a little more and get something that actually has some R&D behind it. |

These will get you rust over a few weeks, and they WILL sag. Spring rates arent prolly accurate

You obviously don't care about quality or safety, so just heat or cut your stock springs....

^^ These springs don't have threaded sleeves... they're just springs, not coilovers.
