I know it's early but we are trying to make sure we can have a fun caravan to this event. I will have a few radios for the group so we can communicate during the trip. I will be organizing with the NORCAL guys so we can have one big group driving into Vegas. if you happen to have any small two radios please advise, as I would like to see every car with a radio so we can stay as one group.

More information is coming as we continue to work on this exciting weekend. We will be at the Long Beach meeting and we are hopping to see many of you there. We are hopping that we can have a short conversation at the end of that meeting regarding location people would like to stop during the trip and possible location to stay if they do not have a host hotel.

They posted this schedule for the event we are looking forward to going. They are still working on hotels for this event so stay tuned.

To anyone who's hesitated how long need to stay at the Vegas, here's a rough plan of these 2 days that might help you figure stuff out.

Given this time line and the early start on Friday it looks like a Thursday caravan would be the best with a meet up with the NorCal guys in the Barstow area. As for the departure time for SoCal it's still not know as I'm working with the NorCal guys to get the two groups togather before rolling into Las Vegas. What does everyone think?

Why not just meet at Baker instead of Barstow. This will allow people to get together have a meet for a couple of hours. Allowing everyone to catch up, relax, get gas, a bite to eat and meet everyone on the way.

At least that's what we did on the Scion to SEMA ride. We only stopped at Barstow as a catch up point for late wake ups and to apply vinyl.

I was thinking the old train station in Barstow there is a good selection of foo and the parking lot is a descent size. I believe the gas prices in Barstow are cheaper then baker but I'm not sure. From there i was thinking prime as a quick stop n photo. I will be running a gopro to record the event and I'm hopping to put photos into the video. I will bring this up at the meeting this weekend also

June 14th:
AutoX at the Vegas Speedway (morning ~ afternoon) w few event there
Night meet (night)
Clubbing


June 15th:
Chill at the hotel pool
Meet & prep for cruise (morning)
Cruise (morning~ lil pass noon)
Buffet
Back to the dealer for shows & awards
Drive back to CA

The schedule leaves a lot to be wanted.

DAM there's a huge dirt lot in front of the thermometer. We parked our 50 on the cruise there. There was room for plenty more. There are a couple of fast food places and gas isn't too far off from Barstow prices.
