What a thrash this past week--my car has really eaten me alive in the ordeal... lol

I was able to upload a vid from my wife's laptop, so you can really hear the sound difference. I'll post as soon as it uploads.

I'll give some feedback on the Dixie Tour later & hopefully the vids came out. Let's just say I wasn't elated w/ results & the car & driver's performances...

At least the car looked good. lol

I think you guys did fairly well! Keep in mind those RX-8's have had way more time to develop their cars compared to the twins just coming out last year!

Thank you...

Was chasing my tail (literally) on the car, then it was actually driveable on my 3rd run. Ready to go for it on last run, but check engine came on (traction control can't be disabled) & my goose was cooked. Was trying to catch Mike King...

Sunday was a joke. Car became loose again & I overdrove like a ?&%$$##! Game over... Lol

Are you using the Strano front bar? I know there are a lot of things to tune at this point, hopefully you can get it figured out.

I think Mark Scroggs and the Edge Motorworks folks have had a much more positive experience so far -- you may want to ping them about their initial settings.

They're looking awfully fast against some national championship competition.

What's funny is that it transformed the car when it was on the stock suspension/alignment.

Here's what I posted on NASIOC:

Well, I wish I could say the Twins ruled--but not so...

A vid of my 2nd quickest run (batt died on best while staging). My car was just put together, and the rear needs work--it will not plant & wants to come around mid/exit under power--although, thankfully, the front is nice & pointy. It doesn't inspire confidence & didn't allow me to throw the car around, to suit my driving style.

I also drove poorly & should have been in the mid 44s (45.1 best on 3rd run). The P1 RX8 ran a 44.0. I may have been able to run that mid 44 & try to catch Superman, but my CEL light kicked on while staging for 4th run--been disconnecting batt to reset multiple times--tuner needs to sort!), enabled TC & that was that...

Sunday was a joke as the cooler conditions made the car loose again & I overdrove the pi$$ outta the car & put on a drift show. My codriver was more than a second off his Sat times.

Bottom line... it's gonna take some development to get these cars to the top of the standings--but I believe they ultimately have potential to be in the mix.

I am not sure if was the lack of confidence in the car, but it looked like you were turning in late on most of the turns?
