Wow just saw the e-mail announcement. Sounds like its gonna be time to drive to Vegas for a few days. Should be fun. Never Auto-X'ed before. But been wanting to try it. Only down side is that its gonna be a billion degrees in Vegas. Still should be amazing fun times!

The issue with the west coast meets is that all the cities are so far away. I'm only one state over but it's still 1000 miles away! If only we could have a national holiday for 86ers and all major cities have an event that day.

When you leave East of the Mississippi, Vegas is West Coast. Lets do some mapping..

Let's see 29 hours to Vegas from Atlanta, and then 4 more hours to Long Beach, yea, that's still West Coast. It would take me longer to get from Atlanta to the Florida state line than it does from Vegas to Long Beach.

Still, gotta go where it is. I'm a long hauler at heart so I could do it in less than two days solo. I am thinking about it, but I'd only go if I drove.

I agree with what is said above, driving to a Car Event is like trailering your motorcycle to Bike Week in Daytona. It just does not compute....
