After 4 long months of waiting, its back and even better. Interesting to see the tire degradation and how it will play out for pit strategies this year.

[SPOILER ALERT]
I know many who are Vettel haters, but for the past 4 years watching Horner / Newey develop their car is pretty amazing. Glad Kimi made it back in full force and didn't even need to say leavemealoneiknowwhatimdoing. Hopefully Brawn can revive Mercedes with Hamilton's input and it definitely has the pace so far.

Since the SPEED Channel dumped F1 not sure who is broadcasting F1 now. I did find it on an all Spanish station out of Wash. D.C. but was to hard to listen to.

NBC Sports/NBC Sports HD. Here in San Diego on TWC, its ch 741. They also cover IZOD Indycar. Looks like Speed still has Le Mans though. Bob Varsha will be back as guest commentator next week in Malaysia, so I'm looking forward to that!

IMO one teammate should not have to get permission to pass another teammate this early in the season. That said Vettel shouldn't have asked the team to tell Webber to move aside. Can't wait for the next race.

Buxton's article sums up the best arguments about the subject. It's a fantastic piece of writing on the subject, and I think it's spot on.

I think Vettel would have been better off not attacking after team orders were given, or at the very least informing the team of his intention to race for the win.

Vettel took advantage of knowing that Webber wasn't going to be trying or looking to have to defend his position. At the very least, not very sporting on Vettel's part, a "sucker punch".

Granted, he's there to win, but the best strategy for winning the 2nd race of the season and the best strategy for winning the CHAMPIONSHIP are not necessarily the same.

For the rest of a very long season, Vettel will not have a teammate who is on his side or even neutral to him. He will have a teammate who is at least somewhat OUT TO GET HIM. Webber is not a forgive/forget kind of guy, and you can bet that his top two priorities for the year are something like:
1. Maximize results for himself, "team orders" or not
2. Take any opportunity to punish Vettel as long as it doesn't interfere with objective #1

Say Vettel is faster, trailing Webber, while Alonso is in front and pulling away. What are the chances that Webber will simply let him by to chase Alonso now? Webber is going to fight like hell for any position with Vettel, whatever the circumstances.

For Vettel, taking the win at Maylasia might have negative ramifications amounting to more than 7 points in the championship...
