Anyone an F1 fan here?

Round 1 in Australia starts in just a few minutes. Don't know if I'll stay awake long enough to catch the end, but I'm excited to see what Hamilton will do at Mercedes and as always, I'll be cheering for Alonso all season long. Screw Vettel!

Watching right now, Vettel is once again at the front and as long as Massa and Alonso are fighting for 2nd he's likely going to stay there. Webber's bad luck may continue.

I'm gonna grab a recording of it later today. I went to the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka in 2011, and the United Stated Grand Prix at Austin last year. Both times were awesome.

The race was awesome and the finishing order unexpected. This year may end up better than last

haha go kimi! i'm a lotus fan so im happy to see him win shame i couldn't go down this year.

i dont think its going to be a repeat to the start of last season(7 races 7 different winners) but i do think its going to be a much widely contested season

I think Sutil had the biggest influence on the race. Had he not stayed in front of Vettel as long as he did Vettel would have likely gapped the field like always and cruised to victory. Ferrari was smart with their pit strategy and managed to get Fernando in front of the two of them just moments after Vettel finally passed. Then Kimi of course was left in a great position and pulled away at the end. Fun race, all sorts of drivers were competitive today, can't wait til the next one.

I don't think so. Kimi and the Lotus were much easier on tires and faster on older tires at race end. Vettel wasn't exactly rocketing away in the first stint, and of course had to pit much earlier. Vettel in the Red Bull were a more ideal pair for qualifying, but clearly, obviously, Kimi and the Lotus were the class of the field for the race.

I think I need a catch up on what's been going on. Lotus won?

Lotus is going to be in championship contention?

This is awesome.

I was tired last night so I only watched the race and went to bed once Kimi got the checkered flag, missed the interviews. Just read them a little earlier and I had not realized Kimi only had 2 stops, amazing. So yeah all the credit to him and Lotus on some incredible tire management.
