but thankfully i discovered this thread! i was able to put a deposit ($1000 refundable) for a WRB 6MT premium with popular package 1a and a spoiler. ended up getting quoted for $1,020 below invoice before tax/licensing and delivery through heuberger motors.

car doesn't arrive at the dealership until the 26th, but its a heck of a deal for a car thats in transit, especially since i don't have to wait for months for exactly what i want. just got back from my local Scion dealership to try the FR-S and thoroughly enjoyed it. can't want to finalize everything and have the car in my driveway! glad to be part of this community, and eventually on team co>ca if all goes well.
I'm in the same boat as you. Waiting for the car to arrive from heuberger motors. The wait is killing me but its worth the overall deal I got.

so it looks like we got three people (including me) waiting for our BRZs from heuberger. Have your dates been pushed back? It was originally 3/20, then 3/21 2 days ago. Now i'm reading 3/26 from lorenander. Hopefully mine isn't 3/26 either, i'll have to send them an email.

yay! i just checked their site, they now have 15 more Limiteds!

one thing that makes me concerned about our "ETA" is that my salesperson couldn't provide an answer when i asked where exactly is the car at this point. She said it's en route to the US or is already here. I would think if a VIN has been provided, one can find out exactly where it's at right?

Also along with asking if the ETA is still 3/21. I'm going to ask if she knows what kind of tires the car will be provided with. Seeing how they're being allocated to a snowy state, hopefully they're not the all season Bridgestone Turanza EL400's :/

For those of you working with heuberger motors, how did you get in touch with them and who did you use?

i just sent a request through their website using the link from the BRZ i had chosen. i didn't have anyone in mind and ended up buying with Karen. She's been great so far!

The CO dealers are competitive, so try to get multiple quotes from different dealers but what stood out about Karen and Heuberger is that they'll help arrange transportation at a $150-200 less than what I was able to get on my own and their financing also is very low (got 1.59% 60mos)

Local markup is $3000 to $5000

Ticket to Vegas was about $100.

Drive back to Santa Cruz in my new BRZ (the same day) was priceless...

Fwiw registration/paperwork/$$ transfer was all painless (Subaru of Las Vegas) Super worth it...

Seriously the CA dealers need to learn. What I love about this is now that everyone is buying from CO their dealers get increased allocation year over year so they can sell even more.

Bought my SWP Limited at Peoria Subaru in Arizona at invoice. One small advise tho', when you purchase your new car out of state, they may offer you a temporary registration for you to be able to drive around for 90 days. BUT, you still need to register your new vehicle in the state of California within 10 days of entering the state. Meaning, if you are planning to drive (or have it delivered) your brand new car back to California, you have 10 days to report to California DMV upon entering the state border. I made a mistake by depending on my 90 day temporary registration given by my dealership and ended up spending a couple hundred dollars in penalty.

Good luck with all your purchases!

That is interesting, because Subaru of LV has been on the dealer blacklist here for quite some time... but that is great that they've changed their ways.

You can call Clint who is super easy to work with. He's helped many buyers from CA. His cell # is 719-330-8006. I told him I'd post his cell# since I was very happy with his customer service. Feel free to tell him I posted his #.

i just called and asked for an internet sales manager. one of the managers named Dave, and another sales associate Ken, are helping me out. seems like no matter who you end up working with from heuberger, they're very helpful. if you're looking to do a factory order, i was told they will give you the below invoice price as well.

heuberger has decided not to do any paperwork until the car comes, they send me photos, and i give them the OK that i want the car.

My car was at the dealership last week. Yours should be there too, since you ordered around the same time as me.
