Why is the extended rev limit only 2nd gear?

I think it is because it allows you to get to 60 mph without having to shift to 3rd. Most people believe that there is no advantage taking the RPMs that high in other gears because power starts to drop off.

The flex fuel kit solves this problem by adjusting the tune to the mix in the tank. However, John has come up with a new map switch that is less expensive than the flex fuel kit and will meet the needs of the majority of the people waiting for this feature.

Visconti Tuning will always be working to offer our customers the best bang for their buck, and the new system we're working on will offer the same capabilities but at a much more reasonable price. We'll keep everyone posted on its availability.
Not that I'm impatient or anything... but do you know when all the tickets are going to be responded to?

Is this the friend of John's I met in Annapolis a few months back?

John flashed my car in person, cause he didn't have cables at the time. I have a white FRS.

I believe so. Tuned your car in the 1901 West parking lot with the Starbucks right? Good to see you on here! I gather you were pleased with the results?

Yea, that sounds like the place. I've been pleased with the tune. Haven't been much into the updates, but I will need one soon. VERY glad John has someone helping him out.
