No offense taken and I'm laughing right along with you. We had to play up our characters to even get on the show, and then they edited what they wanted to. As for the slap, the guy apologized before the show aired. He had the producers yapping in his ear to react to the contact on track and do something. He just didn't intend for it to come out that way.

What he did was disrespectfull but he did step back like he instantly regretted his decision and was fearful of a counterattack. I would have snapped if he layed a hand on me.

I watched a couple of more episodes including the M3/GTR ep.

Seems that despite this being on a track the race comes down to the drag race from 35mph into the first corner. After that the lack of experience on the driver's part pretty much guarantees passing is not going to happen.

Yeah I did see that episode. The three or four episodes I've seen seem like they're really trying to ham up the dialogue, the jabs and commentary feel a bit forced, especially from the guest drivers. Entertaining, nonetheless. Some of the cars on the redneck side are pretty wicked.

The slap genuinely surprised me, but it makes sense that the producers are trying to create more drama.
