Is an FT86Club.com Member Faster Than a Redneck?
Tune in to SPEED's new show, R U Faster Than a Redneck, to find out!
I'm an import contestant - in a BMW - on one episode, but I really can't say much more than that! :burnrubber: It will be goofy and the rednecks pull out a bunch of shenanigans, but I will attest that the racing on track was REAL. It was filmed on the short course at CMP earlier this year. http://youtu.be/Mr9IgelTyqo We are hearing that the first episode should air on SPEED on Feb 22nd, after the NASCAR truck race. They are obviously trying to capture their target audience ;) |
Aw, I thought you were going track them with your FR-S... :(

Lol they tried to get myself and some friends to do that show but didn't provide enough details for me to do it. Looking forward to watching though.

Just 2 days till the show airs. Buy this SpecE30 National Champion's FR-S that is now for sale.

My episode was on this past Monday. The one with Bo Duke and the GTR. Did anyone see it?
|
I didn't see your episode, but this show is actually pretty entertaining, the rednecks have better cars than I thought they would (2012 Boss) and have some pretty good drivers.
|
The Boss was actually one of their slowest..... their drivers were a mixed bag. They had a couple that were good. I faced their fastest driver in their fastest car...

Comment on Youtube which kinda sums it up for me:
"Watched the show enjoyed it but on the show I watched a couple of the import guys had cars close to stock. The "redneck" cars were all heavily set up track cars. I also wonder how well some of the competetors would of done with more experience with the track. If you know all your breaking points and track lines you can outrun someone in a Ferrari with a Ford Focus." |

No offense taken and I'm laughing right along with you. We had to play up our characters to even get on the show, and then they edited what they wanted to. As for the slap, the guy apologized before the show aired. He had the producers yapping in his ear to react to the contact on track and do something. He just didn't intend for it to come out that way.
