Doesn't matter who was first as long as there is still a meet happening. I can't even begin to tell you how many meets we started back in 2000-2001 the were completely busted up by the cops due to people acting like jackasses.

Yeah. This is one reason why I find it hard to have a meet here in the valley. Cops or security guards usually show up eventually. The last one I went to (before all the FT86 meets) was broken up even though no one was doing anything. Like police helicopter and everything.

Anyways, we can have another meet here if you guys want. I can't really think of too many locations though. KBBQ was pretty popular with everyone last time. There's the In-N-Out on Tampa. Maybe even one of the shopping centers on Victory/Canoga. The one across the street from the Best Buy there had pretty good lighting and plenty of parking. There's also a Jamba Juice and few other spots. Also the Zen Buffet in that same spot.

I'm just merely stating that "Scion" community has been active meeting there since then just in the valley, that's all.

We (I) also use to meet at Bobs in Toluca Lake, Glendale, and Northridge. Costco (pre IN-N-OUT) was another area that a lot of people would meet way back when before all the fast five shinanigans was going on which now has moved over to the Cali kitchen over on Plummer, if not then the Black Angus lot. Krispy Kreme on Topanga (back in the days) was another spot to hangout which led to Burbank KK meet with other enthusiasts from surrounding area which now gets huge turnouts.

Porter Ranch on the NW side gets attention seasonally also. The old Devonshire/Balboa GTG (old Circuit City) was another spot that brought all enthusiasts from surrounding area but no longer exist due to the church and shopping center being there. These are but just a few GTG in the valley that still exists if anyone wants to meet.

Outside of the county, we use to also meet in Riverside Co. on Market and on E Street in Berdoo.

There’s plenty of area that true enthusiast can meet without flagging the officials as long as people don’t wear their asshats. Target on Balboa has always been a low key area where you can chill without the drama… Theres also Dennys, IHOP, COCOS, ASAHI, IN-N-OUT, etc where you can eat and chill with others. You can also meet at the Matador Bowl on Sepulveda if you don't mind the Foothill station on SF Mission down the street.

There's also the Office Depot on Bouquet Canyon in SCV that people can meet.

The weather is getting better and maybe it’s time to get everyone together for this season to hangout and meet old friends and make new ones.

I posted my previous comment to stave off any potential internet pissing match. You know how sometimes these types of threads degrade to I pissed on this grass first type comments.

Anyway back on topic:

It's good to see that there are more options for us up here in the valley. Thanks to @QuickSilveRX-8 and @xBOXER for the info on established meets that are closer to home that we can hit up in the future.

^^^

You can also head up the coast starting from Topanga up to Oxnard and to Santa Barbara which is a nice drive in the summer season.

The meet was a bust. I was there from 6:30 to 8:40 with Bisdak...We should organize another meet. Balboa and Devonshire has a huge parking lot in front of the AutoZone. There is also a really big parking lot in the rear of the businesses. Any suggestions?
