Future climate control for FR-S? Scion Surveys...

Didn't see this posted yet, but it looks like Scion is sending out surveys about the HVAC system.

They pertain to the modes and blower levels. Anyone else receive it?

I did, but i wouldn't expect any major revisions.

I use this mode the most. The other modes dry out my eyes too much.

I got the email, it seemed like they were looking to address complaints that there weren't enough control options, but what more would you want?

I'm thrilled to have manual control. One of the reasons I got an FR-S over a BRZ.

The BRZ Premium has the same crappy manual controls...

Scion isn't going to make any major revisions to the climate control as it would involve an increase in cost and thus price. The point of the survey is probably to educate the public on that fact that the mid-level modes exist in the first place, since the average idiot probably thinks the dots are just for decoration.

Heck, I didn't know what the dots were... Though it does make total sense now having it pointed out...

Though there's no perceptible difference to me, I keep it there a majority of the time. I think they need to adjust the fan speeds too. Currently the fan control feels like:

Off=Heat, 1=50%, 2=75%, 3=100%, 4=200% aka "Aye, she can't take much more captain!"-mode...

I mean, I live in Texas, and although it hasn't been really hot lately (got to about 85ºF the other day), AC on with fan speed @ 1, I felt like I was going to be frozen. Conversely, when it's cold (for us Texans at least, ~50ºF) heater on with fan speed @ 1, it feels like you could cook eggs on your face after a couple of minutes. I'd like to see it like:

Off=Off (for real), 1=20%, 2=40%, 3=75%, 4=100%
