Again... Just an IT guy here. Not bashing, but what's the difference in power required to run the quarter mile in let's say 14.5 vs 13.5.... 13.5 vs 12.5... 12.5 vs 11.5?
It was probably 73 degrees in Houston if anyone wants to know. |

I used different calculators before the supercharger. I figured mid 13s with the stock pulley and under very good circumstances... super high 12s with the upgraded pulley Perrin used.

Of course there's nothing scientific in the video I did, I just wanted to replicate his pulls. I've got the perrin pully and it does make a difference, but after second gear the gains of having one or not will be very subtle.

Oh I know... I'm not saying it is bad at all either. I applaud anyone taking the time and adding further analysis to the thread. That is what it is here for.
The pulley I'm referring to in that particular statement is the blower pulley in case anyone mistakes it for the Perrin crank pulley. |

This is why I've been tiring to get people to record their 60-80 and 80-100 times to see what kind of affects these kits have in the real world. 0-60 times are also nice but too many variables involved and not everyone wants to abuse their clutch.

There is a cruise today. Wet outside, but I'll try to do 60-80. As far as 80-100, we'll have to find a nice stretch.
At the road course on Thursday the video we'll give feedback on a variety of different situations. |

That would be great however you would really need to use Torque Pro and a OBDII adapter to get an accurate number.

Hello,
Victor said some brackets were on the way. Vortech knows. I will leave mine the way it is until I have a good reason to take the blower off and access the alternator bolts. You can't really tell any modification was done. Keep in mind two of the kits were not installed by actual techs. Just your basic car enthusiast. This is the biggest modification I've installed by myself by far. I have a new found love for the dremel . Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2 |

I also want to install it my self. I would like to have more knowledge about the kit before I order one. I don't if which vendor can ship it into Philippines. Do you think a regular car guy can install and set up that SC? Is the addition hp feels significantly? Thanks

Didn't see your post about the V1..
Still like this: http://www.escortradar.com/escort-live/ I tried to read up a little on what people consider fair for measuring 60-80. I think capturing it in the part of a 0-100 mph run is not right... Saw that one. Another club suggested start at 55. Then another 50 I believe. In this one you can see that I started at around 59 or so in the first and right on 60 for the second. 1st 3.7, 2nd 3.8. Occupant one weight: 183 lbs Occupant two weight: 128 lbs [ame]http://youtu.be/goX5D6iHCjw[/ame] |
