Yes, it should fit.
Also it will depends on your wheel/suspension setup.

I have fortune auto coilovers with rota DPT's running 245's up front with plenty of room. I am running 17's but there is a ton of room to do it with 18's

yup, same thing pretty much, 245/40/17 is pretty close to the same height as 245/35/18 so it will work fine

Diameter doesn't mean much, it's width, offset, and tire size that matters.
