Since we're speculating as to the delay, maybe they purchased the complete boxed dvd set of all seasons of Hannah Montana.

I commented on Innovate's new YouTube video post and he replied in about 30mins, I commented again and they replied again in 30mins. I just think they aren't paying much attention to this forum until they are finished. The comment I asked was is their hose from the stock air box to the maf/throttle body going to be flexible. They said no, that it was plastic. I said to them it would be great if we could get that part in silicon and in 3 different color choices red, blue, and black. I also mentioned that silicon would be better as I'm currently using the Perrin intake and cai filter so their plastic hose, if it won't bend a little, wouldn't work with my intake even though it's in almost the same spot as stock. I'd just need a little flex in the hose that they are currently saying is hard plastic.

The vacuum pressure should cause any issues if the silicon hose is of the highest quality. They are reinforced with braided bands which should be well within the useable tolerances of the silicon hose.

I'm glad they're taking their time. It means they are working hard and trying to get the most out of the supercharger.
When they finally release it and get it in our hands... we'll all forget about this stupid thread. All those whining, what are you going to do about it? Buy another FI kit instead? Go for it, nobody is stopping you and they're readily available. I'm going to be patient and wait it out. What's the worst that can happen if it ends up not working out? I'll just buy another FI kit instead.

Many of us don't mind that they take their time. What we mind is the fact that THEY STARTED THIS THREAD and they've completely stopped updating us. Nameless has still not released their header and their thread has been around longer than this. They, however, are constantly providing updates as to where they are with development and what their hold-ups are. No one in that thread is complaining about the delay because Nameless is communicating.

I don't think this thread needs to go in the direction of criticizing Innovate's approach. They don't have to do their R&D in front of the masses or like company X does. So they take a different approach and are keeping things under wraps. It is obviously no less valid an approach. Look at how much interest there is. The mystery around the whole thing is effective.
I've heard good things about Innovate with their data logging products. I think assuming they won't be good with product support based upon them being quiet during R&D on this forum is jumping to conclusions. |
