not really. coz if i request a day off of work, i have to submit a form at work before every 15th of the month so it'll get approved. So i dont call the shots regarding my days off.

Hey all I am totally DOWN! I just read through all 6 pages of talk about this meet to get caught up. Some things. Late April works best for me. I have a memorial to go to in around Mid April and that has to take priority, I would hate to miss a massive, like once-a-year eight-six meetup.

I would be totally down to help setup, tear down, clean, bring extra chairs, soda, what ever. I also have a quad-rotor and could take some areal photos of the meetup.

Also how do East Bay folks feel about meeting up at a big park early in the morning and driving in a small train up to the meetup? I would be happy to organize that. Problem is that I don't know the area outside of Fremont very well. If anyone wants to suggest someplace further north in East Bay I am all ears. Right now I was thinking about meetup up at Union Landing over by the Staples or Office Depot or what ever office supply place that is there across from the Chevy's. It should be dead since it would likely be a Saturday and early'ish in the morning.

True, we have tons of small meets here and there but the "massive" one last year (official meet) had about 30+ cars. This year we may even see that number double because of the increased registrations on this forum.

We had 2 big ones. There was one in July also. This year its looking like it'll be 3: spring, summer and fall. I Am really hoping for an All CA meet in like SLO for summer. Seems like its in the works, and I would be more than willing to help organize.

I think some big event like this, the host/op just need to name a date time and place. There is always some people cannot make it, or some people don't like certain place. Please start a thread and start register because I cannot wait...

Any thought on maybe ending this poll sooner or posting up the date poll in another thread at the same time? Otherwise it could make it more of a rushed event to get it done in April. I mean if you have the date poll up a week or two then you need at least two weeks for registration and what not.

IMHO I would post the date poll to end the same time or just shoot for like the first Saturday in May. Also allow multiple answer if that is an option.

I agree, the sooner people know the date the better so they can start planning and save the date.

I dont celebrate it but my guess is that people may be going out of town/visit family during Cinco De Mayo weekend.

Just wanna cast my vote
