i purchased a hood and front lip back in the day from seibon 2004. never was a fan of the parts after that had gap issues on the hood and the lip was seemingly warped and had to be force held while putting it on. Seems like seibon just contracts some crummy fiberglass shop in china to make the parts, no quality control or oversight occurs.

only a few companies these days honor the customer over their pocketbooks, yet is such a simple thing to do

Here we go guys. As a vendor here, and as car enthusiasts we take care of our customers.

We swapped Jason the SN spoiler we had ordered for our car. And placed his originally ordered SN spoiler on the car here at the shop. While fitment was not 100% it was pretty good.

We're going to rock it, some 3M tape, pressure and ready to roll. At the end of the day, everyone is happy. That's what we do.

Yes this is lame old Iowa.

I really like some of the Seibon pieces, but this thread does make me a little weary

Anybody have pics of the TB-Style pieces, I have scoured google images with no luck.

Here is a Seibon hood on the BRZ...I zoomed in and took a screen shot so you can see the line over the headlight. It doesn't match up at all. The front of the hood where it meets the bumper also sits too low.

0 Fitment Issues what so ever. How ever the screws that come with it are super weird, they are not quite a 15 or a 14 but in the middle and doesnt fit the other metric standard either.

Note it also took about 6 tries to position it absolutely perfect and I couldn't be happier with the results. If your having issues I would suggest aligning it again maybe ?

The rest of the parts will need a body shop to install.

@kanundrum mind taking pics of the panel gap between hood and fender on each side? Close ups of the corners at the lights would be appreciated too.

I am another person who has had issues with seibon products. I bought a OEM style hood for my Evo in 2005. The first thing i noticed was the really cheap vent insert. No biggie I just painted it black. When i installed it, I could'nt get it to fit with out one side being out of whack. I thought i was doing something wrong, so I took it to a buddy who works in a body shop for him to try to line it up. He got it as straight as he could but it still was not to my liking. After some time (under a year) the clear started to chip and the carbon started to change colors. Mostly near the turbo. I had to get the whole hood recleared. I dont know if their quality standards have changed but I am not willing to find out.

@FT-86 SpeedFactory I was wondering about the vents and rain.

The Alternator is right there at the opening. So I am wondering what effect water will have on it?
