Onitsuka Tigers my GF gave me. Very thin sole, and they look ridiculous
Very thin and insanely comfortable! You know that feeling you get when you wear workboots/ice skates/dress shoes all day and then throw on your sneakers? Imagine that feeling, but everytime. Tigers are the next thing to walking on air. Perfect for driving in every way.

My color combination is not as ridiculous, though.

+1 on Onitsuka Tigers. I'm waiting for their new color set of California 78 Vintage to release. The bottom curls up behind the heel like any real driving shoe but these look hip/stylish enough for everyday wear! Here's what they look like:

I've got a pair of Mexico 66 Slip-Ons I wear daily to work. So lightweight it feels like I'm not wearing any shoes and no laces to tie... sooo convenient and comfy.

Does my driving buddy proud

Tiger's are great, lightest shoe I've ever worn, but they only last about a year before they start looking beat up if they're your "wear everyday" shoes, just a heads up for people like me who would prefer to buy shoes about once every 5 years.

Probably going to try the California 78's mentioned above if I can find a nice color I like.

I'll post pics later but either my Adidas climacool shoes which weigh less than my iPhone( not the mutant toe shoes) or my beater polo shoes which are good when its a little chilly.

Lots of tiger love in here! Nice. My last 4 pairs have been 81s, I love them so much I was always afraid of trying out the 66s. Being as some of you guys have both, are the 66's just as great?

I'm a big GoD/Kill Bill fan and have wanted these since forever...

^ I prefer my 81's over my 66's. The 81's are definitely lighter and less restrictive when it comes to width (I have wide feet).

Are you just wanting comfort??? or do you need 'real' FIA/Nomex stuff???

What I use for Autocross and track days are wrestling shoes..they are light.. great peddle feel.. and Makes you look like you know what your doing.... .. Seriously good price.. and as long as you don't need the sanctioned stuff... these work great

I never thought that shoes made a difference while driving until I got a job where I had to wear dress shoes. I can't heel-toe in these things at all! When I'm going for a fun drive, I rock some DC Sports skater shoes:

Seriously, all of you who like 81s and tigers. I have them, never wear them because the Serrano are so much lighter /thinner. Try them on if you can somewhere

I've been following the Onitsuka Tiger California 78 OG Vintage with its new black/gold color scheme for a few weeks now. Was finally able to place an order last week and received them today.
