You also need to e a brave man to drive this car in winter without winter tires.
I dont think brave should be confused with reckless... those tires are weak in normal weather, in the snow its asking for it.

I drove my FRS in the little snow we had. Of course I went out after the first plow but still, I had stock tires and did just fine when other cars and SUVs didn't. All you need to do is take it easy, triple your braking estimated distance and be slow and cautious at every turn. Don't just blame the tires for your terrible driving capabilities. Yes it's a sports car, and sport cars are best driven on closed tracks under managed supervision.

Remember - this car in the US comes stock with SUMMER tires, not all seasons. Changing the tires for winter months in 4-season states is a requirement, not optional. Great to hear that with winter tires through snow the car does fine. And sport mode may help in situations where you don't mind some tire spin.

Old trick for LSD is if one tire breaks complete traction, to hit the brakes lightly while still on the gas. This will trick the LSD into giving torque to the wheel with traction instead if just spinning the free wheel. Probably only need to use this if completely stuck on a sheet of ice.

I don't think you have the right to call the way I drive reckless.

Yes, TCS was on, as well as snow mode. These can only do so much when you begin to float on slush.

Well, I think we have established in previous threads that you are pretty much a half bubble of plumb anyways, so keep on keeping on!

I had to look up what the F that meant. Never heard that expression before.
I will take the insult as a positive since I learned a new idiom.

my FR-S comes with all-season, and I am planning to replace them with sets of winter tire and summary tire to switch between the seasons. What do I do with the current allseason? is there a place i can sell that? (I had the car for about 3 months now, only 2.4K miles on it)
