Yeah buddy of mine has a 2011 Rex, black hatch. He has cobb tune with K&N intake, with a full exhaust. It makes unbelievable torque at 3 grand and up. I used to hate on cracker jack cars, but i love them now.

FML, seriously?! He's said he was going to release a dyno a couple of times now. It seems pretty obvious he thought he'd be able to post one a while ago but the release date keeps getting pushed back.

There's lots of good potential with this kit, but there's also way too many hands in the pot. That is what's holding things up. Bullet, Sprintex, Innovate, and a Japan company that I can't remember the name of right now, all with their hands in the cookie jar. They probably all have different people tuning the kit, so there's another four hands. After all the tuned data is compiled the parent company, whoever it is, is probably going to question why one tuner got different results then others. Redline's, air fuel ratio's, egt's, emissions for different parts of the world, CARB certs & the like, torque curves... will probably all be debated at a corporate level, by people that have never tuned the car and aren't familiar with it's idiosyncrasies. So, the tuners are going to have to make their cases as to why a company name should be put on their tune and why their tune wont blow up the engine. Yadda fuckin yadda yadda.

Honestly everyone that is bitching about the lack of information needs to think a little farther down the road then their own nose. This isn't a few good ol' boys with a welder and the wallet to turn the boost up to 20 pounds. This is a conglomerate of companies attempting to work together, all trying to cover their respective asses, all trying to vet each other & each other's contractors. Any failure, anywhere in the world, will be seen by this entire community and could easily tune this whole thing into a pile of scrap.

And remember, John may be an active poster here, and he very well may be the most experience tuner in the world on this platform, but that means just slightly more then naught to the CEO's of these companies. He's been hired to do what he does, not to advertise, not to do PR, he was hired by one of the companies to tune this kit using US gas.

Personally I like that he's as passionate about this car as I am. He doesn't own one but yet he's still excited about this kit and every other kit he's tuned. He's doing everything he can to get us as much information to us as the terms of the non-disclosure agreement (that I'm 99% positive he would have had to sign) will let him. Especially considering he's going to be selling these kits, he has no good reason to withhold information unless it's under duress of a contract.

I had an 06 wrx then a 370z and then a GTI in 4 years and I still like the wrx better than anything! I should've never sold it.

Yeah, I shouldn't have sold my built Evo either, but I'm enjoying my BRZ.

Dude oh my god. Some guy I met at a car show had a 2012 Evo, he said the motor was fully built. Put over 50,000$ in the motor alone. Did a 20 pull to 80... Its faster than my 2009 R35 and I'm at 550whp 476trq. But I get him on highway pulls haha.

Bingo... Once they 'all' have their ducks in a row the information will be released. And I think Cusco is the Japanese company who may disstribute to the JDM. It's just a shame there isnt a john available to all the companies involved

Totally. We all know that Japanese can't tune their own cars. And Australians were only just clever enough to develop the kit. Lucky there is one guy in the world who can tune.

Seriously, what the fuck? This is why the rest of the world laughs at the arrogance of the typical American.

BS dude its Visconti's fault and you know it. He's behind this, he was behind the whole Agency Power ponzy scheme, and he knows the reasons why some peoples cars have crickets... He just wont release the fix till he can put a nice big price on it. You should also know that he has the cure for cancer but wont give it out...just the kinda guy he is......

Lol I mean cmon he's prolly on the line as it is of what he can share people. Most of you clowns complaining about numbers don't even have the money to get the kit. For those that do... go make a damn sammich and wait... or go have a ride in one of carwhisperers sweet cars, I'm sure he'd take you for a spin.

Where did this come from? Are you trolling? Because you're doing a really poor job of it. Instead of trying to cause trouble, why don't you just take a step back and try to think for a minute or two.

Here, I'll even help you:

Is Bullet's tuner on these forums?

Is Cusco's?

The only tuner this community knows that is working on this kit is Visconti. So of course they are eager to see what he does. Asking for Bullet's or Cusco's tuner's comments doesn't quite work since they're not here.

Visconti has been an active participant in this community and has built a name for himself. He was one of the first to get his hands on the ECUTek software. He was the first tuner in this community to tune a high profile forced induction car on this forum. And he has had a hand in a VERY large percentage of all the kits featured here. Of the tuners that are active on this board, he has, without a doubt, not just the most experience with this engine and ECU, but also the widest experience in the various setups.

There's no arrogance, just FACT. If he was French and spent his time bouncing around Europe tuning as he does, we'd STILL be asking for his comments and input on this kit. NO ONE ELSE here is in a position to answer our questions.

And if your comments are based on the assumption that Visconti's tune will get the exact same results as Bullet's you apparently don't understand ECU tuning. If anything, one part of Visconti's reputation is his E85 tuning and taking these kits a step beyond the base. We've seen what little Bullet has put forth, but we want to see what a tuner we know will do with it and what he can do when he decides to push it a bit.

So take your trolling elsewhere. There are other forums that might be ok with trying to start a 'Murica vs World flame war, but this isn't one of them.

Any rough idea of price for the stg2? I am sure it may be posted a while back but don't feel like scrolling through 80 pages right now.
