Would anyone care to please explain how this twin scroll kit would differ from the AVO stage II. AVO stage II produces torq at 2-2.5k all through 7k'ish so at what rpms would you experience initial torq in the twin scroll and will it remain constant up to or through 7k rpm range?

Thanks.
I don't want to speculate how it will compare to any other kit just yet. It is a bigger turbo than the AVO (Precision rates it at 500). Ronnie here at the shop was running an open gt3076r on his VW GTI 1.8t. We swapped a twin scroll manifold and put a divided housing on his turbo and this was the result.

The car is running more boost on the twin scroll setup, but you can still see it comes in alot earlier and mid range is improved. I have some dyno's from an s2000 i did that showed 1000rpm's gain in spool but can't seem to find them for the life of me. Dyno's aside transient response is greatly improved for everyday driving.

How do you guys feel about the intake manifold and throttle body? Plan on doing anything aftermarket with that? I think its the only part of the engine someone has not made a part for.

Haven't thought much about it at this point...I've made a few billet ones for honda's and evo's in the past...It's hard to compete with whats possible with casting though. I'm sure there will be good options in the future!

Will there be a filter on the turbo included in the kit? If so are you just throwing it directly on the turbo or routing it somewhere?

My twin scroll vs single scroll dyno. GT3076r .63 housing vs a .78 divided with supporting mods. Top end suffered, but revving to 7k was ok. It seemed responsive but would surge the turbo even with the ported shroud.

I did try the 1.06 divided housing as well if anyone is interested in my thoughts.
