not too far from my house and exit 14 on palisades

I've only taken it as far as the drift... I mean, 'traffic' circle to the west but it seems like if you take 106 down further, there's fun to be had.

goes through a shaded twisty section. very nice in the day time, have never noticed any cops whatsoever

I have driven here in my Mitsubishi Galant and loved it! Lucky for me i never came across any cops but i dont think i was speeding that much either. I think i will be doing this stretch in my BRZ this weekend.

If there is interest in doing a group drive, I've organized and led lots of them. The Catskills is better though, too many cops in the Bear Mountain area (I saw 2 in the park the other day when I was there) and there they have a tendency to pull groups over even if they aren't doing anything wrong (too many idiots over the years have ruined that area). I've never had a group stopped or bothered in the Catskills.
