I will only buy a convertible if it's a targa top.

I never really liked the idea of having a convertible version of the FR-S/BRZ. But after looking at the pics I guess it's alright. Still don't like it though.

Told you that the tires looked too big for a production car. Knew it was a concept vehicle.

Take the specs on your BRZ, add 100 lb, remove half of the trunk space, and add a ton of cowl shake.

...and it still has more space than a Miata.
Only because the stock wheels are 20 lbs. There are 15-lb 17x7s out there for 200 bucks each.

This concept likely has a smaller trunk than an NC Miata. The FR-S/BRZ trunk is a touch wider and significantly longer but not as tall as the NC's. (The NC does not come with a spare.) Since the concept kept the rear seats, the top will occupy about half the volume of the trunk, when down.

The shark fin just hides the antenna. My 2005 STI and 2008 Forester XT didn't need an external antenna (referring to NAV-less FR-S that has an antenna and current Subaru's that have the RC-looking antenna).

Actually, this is an area of concern among some Miata owners. The PRHT adds 77 lb compared to an equivalently equipped soft top. Also, because of the path the top follows on the way up or down, aftermarket rollbars made to fit the PRHT must be much lower, and very few people would pass the broomstick test with those bars.

77lbs... I can loose that by drinking 2 cups of milk (lactose intolerance) lmao jk

in serious note, that's like AT weight vs MT weight

Looks surprisingly good. Now to see how it stacks up against the Miata and S2000.

All I know is that I will swap a whole lot of that interior into my white FR-S.
