This car is absolutely one of the best looking convertibles I have ever seen! It blows the hell out of the 370Z convertible in the sexy category!

That said... I have had two convertibles and I am done with them. Besides, the rules with running convertibles at the track are ridiculous.

I'm quite happy with my lighter-weight, more rigid, solid top FR-S.

But damn! That thing is pretty!

I like this car. It's pretty damn good looking. The only issue I have unless they build the chassis with convertible in mind is, how bad the handling will be. How much heavier its going to be. I think the interior is nice but dreading it joining scion. I would like this car branded under toyota as GT86.

You know, I don't see any reason for them to go hard top. Yeah, it'll add weight... but currently Miata have both hard top & soft top. I don't see them complain about hard top weighting too much

We already went through that giant fight back in 2011 when most of us wanted the car to be a Toyota FT86. :P

Unfortunately... it only happens in the US. Booo. Lol

you make a strong point actually.

it would be interesting if the convertible actually came here as a toyota with the options while the FR-S stayed a scion to avoid a possible $30k scion after taxes

I mean Toyota has done it before with the xA and Martix

So if there's a navigation option for this convertible, where will they put the antenna? And wherever they put the antenna, why wouldn't they put it there in the first place for the hardtop versions to keep the roof looking clean? I hate the antenna on these cars.
