Wait, what? That's who I've ordered my car through! (Lou Fusz in Creave Cour) Didn't know they had a WRB Auto on the lot. You'd have thought they might have called and asked if I'd take it.

this is true! got 'em lined up like bowling pins here. some are reluctant to "dump" 'em down south, because they know most,if not all will be gone by the end of april.

I'll keep suggesting it, consider an out of state purchase there are plenty readily available in CO. All should be more than willing to sell you a car well below MSRP.

Ridiculous amount of galaxy blues too.

You know what surprised me, is CARMAX seems to be getting some units of BRZ and FRS and they sell at that no Haggle Price. In fact I seen some FRS in a carmax lot and their NEW. Although I'm not sure on how they vary in price. I haven't confirmed on the BRZ part of this equation.

Shortline and Heuberger are offering well below MSRP! I just placed a deposit on one with Karen at Heuberger. She'll even arrange transportation at an awesome price as well. I was able to get them to match my penfed 1.49% for 60 months too Unfortunately they don't have any automatic Limiteds, but Shortline does. Try contacting Marcus there.

I might have to do that. The buyer of my Mini takes delivery in about 3 weeks. If I haven't heard anything by then I'll start looking outstate. Ironically enough I bought my Mini from a private party in Dayton, OH and flew up to take delivery so this wouldn't be my first time doing something like that. Doesn't seem like Fusz is really willing to throw any "perks" into the equation anyway like free oil changes.

I ordered a Galaxy Blue Limited w/ an Automatic. Didn't expect it to be that hard to get.
Just 3 months...not long at all. You're guaranteed to get it brand new, unmolested, and it'll be summer when you do. Perfect timing.

Or look for another color with a MT, and learn to drive stick.

I happened to nab one as it was coming in. Only had to wait a few days.

Oh, I can drive stick. That's not the problem at all. My 94 NA Solo2 Spec Miata and my R53 Cooper S were both manuals, as were my first two Wranglers. This will be my daily driver. One of my main reasons for ditching the Cooper is getting tired of rush hour traffic with a manual transmission.

I'm not complaining about the wait honestly. Was just curious if this was "normal." Hearing about how Subi decided to distribute thier cars does make sense. Honestly, if I can save a couple grand buying out of state that's something to consider as none of the local dealers seem willing to haggle or throw in any dealer perks.

Sniped one on CARS.COM several states away, called up the dealership, put down a deposit, and got the papers i needed to sign overnighted from/back to them.. BEST & smoothest car buying experience I ever had. No need to wait 3-5 months.. there's several sitting on dealer lots (particularly in the North/Northeast). Find the one you want and go get it!

You must pay the state sales tax AND any local taxes of the city or county where you live (not where you purchased the vehicle). The state sales tax rate is 4.225 percent and is based on the net purchase price of your vehicle (price after rebates and trade-ins). Use the tax calculator to estimate the amount of tax you will pay when you title and register your new vehicle.

If you bought your vehicle out-of-state and paid taxes on the vehicle to that state, that tax will be credited toward the amount of tax due in Missouri. You must provide proof of the amount of tax you paid in the other state. If the amount of tax paid in the other state is less than the amount owed in Missouri, you will be assessed the difference. If the vehicle was titled in your name in another state for more than 90 days, no Missouri sales tax will be assessed.
Looks like there's no avoiding sales tax here if I end up buying out of state. Dang.

Yea i sniped myself one too. My camry broke down, and needed the car asap so I drove from VA to CT to get mine.

I had an order with Matt at Beyer Subaru and I had to cancel it. Anyone in NOVA looking for a brz, hit him up, he was awesome.
