Wedge Engineering in LA makes great ones. I'm waiting until I get my new seat to buy one.

My friend is 6'8" and I'm 6'7" (260lbs) and we both fit in... barely.

Do aftermarket lowered seat rails work with stock seats though? I could see spending 200-300 on seat rails, but wouldn't want to have to replace the factory seats.

no one makes a factory lowering rail yet, but hopefully they will realize theres a big enough market for these and start making them, thats how it is with the Viper guys. these sell pretty good

maybe they would do stuff for the frs/brz twins too.

Yea, that kind of thing would be perfect.

An extra inch of headroom would be perfect, if the seat adjustments are maintained.

What I mean is, let's say the seat currently has 3 inches of height adjustment. Not sure what it actually is, but let's say it's 3". Stock height adjust is from 0" to +3".

If you could buy aftermarket rails that lowers the whole thing 1", then you'd have an adjustment of -1" to +2". That would still let slightly shorter people adjust the seat up a bit. Just not as high as without the lowered rails.

6'6" 185 lbs. Tall and skinny, but I have longer legs than torso. Fit just fine but have to fold out of the car! Once the steering wheel is adjusted out and up, plenty of leg room.

I fit...

I am 6'7" / 350 lbs and I fit. ;-)

Karl Malone delivered my vehicle, and I think I am the one being referred to in a previous posting. Has anyone bigger than me bought the car?

I'm 6'8" and I've driven a GT86 for around 25 mins on a test drive. It was fine for this length of time but I'm worried that the lack of space would be an issue on longer drives.

Has anyone managed to make any extra room whilst keeping the standard seats yet?

I saw a thread on installing some nice Recaro seats but at a £1000 each plus mounts plus fitting that option adds a considerable amount on top of the car.

Going for another test drive in the next couple of weeks, hopefully its a bit longer and gives me a better idea.

'

Im 6'4" with 36 waist and 34 inseam and I have 1 inch of headroom. not enough for any sort of head protection when tracking.

Wow compared to everyone in here I'm a short 6'1" tall.

I was gonna say I have the seat upright and fairly close and I fit perfect. But the actually tall people have already spoken.

I tapped, I talked, I conquered.
