In my old GTP there were a few times where I'd shift my position and my knee would knock the keychain dangling from the hook, killing the engine while I was driving. That can be a bit scary when you're on the highway and all of a sudden power brakes and steering vanish.

This being said, the FR-S fits me better than that midsize family sedan did. More comfortable, too.

6'5/200 and I wear 36 length pants. Driver's seat was literally up against the backseat in my test drive, so the spot behind me will be reserved for cargo (definitely not people). Despite that, I was shocked at how comfortable I was.

6'6" 220lbs, 36" waist, 34" inseam.

I fit comfortably. With a helmet on I have ~0.5" of room above my head. Without it it's closer to 2".

I fit ok with a large size DOT/Snell helmet. There is actually more room above the helmet, so maybe someone taller would fit with a helment, depending on body proportions. There is less room to the side though. I hit the pillar (correct name???) with the helmet with only a small movement to the left.

And I also found that you can pull out the headrest and reverse it. This makes the helmet fit much better in relation to the seat so your head is not pushed forward.

Getting IN is the hard part. Friend had an elise, was almost impossible to try to fit in.

Amen brother. I'm 6'4" and have drilled my knee on the center console getting in more times than I care to think about. You just have to be careful. Still, once in, the car is fine for tall drivers. I can dial-in any driving position I want, which is rare.

So a helmet adds about 1.5 inches? K have never had to worry about how much it adds but with this car I can't just put the top down.

Yeah you just have to pump the seat all the way down and it becomes very comfortable. I'm about 6'0" with a 36" inseam. I'm used to my right knee rubbing the plastic in every car because I like to sit very close to the wheel. It's probably why people can actually fit in the seat behind me. xD

Same for me. I'm 6'2" and 36" inseam and I also like having the seat forward. My dad is 6'4" and I borrowed his trunk once and he was pissed/confused about how far forward I adjusted the seat. I just find it more comfortable that way.

I'm 6'7" and I fit. But, my knee hits the key sometimes. I wish the FR-S had a push-button start.
