Any chance of some pics to show the engine mount nut to be removed and where to jack the engine to get the clearance?

It's the part i'm not looking forward to doing on axle stands and getting it right first time will be a big help. If I decide to get it done in a workshop it will also help to be able to tell them exactly what to do so they don't stuff it up because they wont have done it before either. |

It's not that bad, the nut is up in the subframe just take it off and you can tell where to jack it there aren't many options.

Example from your site: ![]() I just don't want to be misled. There are a few companies selling front & over pipes now that all advertise that they make power without a tune.

Have you ever seen many manufacturers that sell you a product and tell you it doesnt make power....? That would be bad for business. I test a product if it doesnt work well I dont use it. People buy parts all the time without independent validation. If you want to find out if a part makes power from one of these companies i suggest you baseline your car stock then install the part and test it again. Then add another supporting mod and retest.
Take it with a grain of salt i recently tuned 2 cars with E85 both made 191hp but one had a gutted stock secondary cat, muffler shop exhaust, k&n drop-in the other had aFe intake perrin over pipe, front pipe and stock exhaust. At quick glance you would think the second car would have made more power but that wasnt the case. |

With you being a reseller of many front pipes that aren't your own, I think it would be helpful to provide accurate descriptions of the products. If you've tested front & over pipes and determined that they lose power without a tune, shouldn't you be promoting your tuning business by saying in the product description that a tune is required to gain power from them? |

So the RHD overpipe I bought from you will make my car lose power unless I get a tune too?
I haven't fitted it yet because i'm still working on the flange faces to get them flat. They were very convex, especially the front flange and certainly not suitable for bolting up without risking leaks and shearing bolts. I'm certainly not fitting it if it will mess up the mixture and lose power. If I had known that I wouldn't have wasted $300. |

Fair enough. I still think you should put a "Tune Recommended To Gain HP" note in the description of ALL over and front pipes that you sell based on your testing results. Most over pipes and catless front pipes are similar in design, so your testing results would likely be applicable for other manufacturer's products that you also sell. It can only help sell more tunes, right? I want to buy a catless resonated front pipe but I also need to budget for a tune if it's going to lose power without one.
