IIRC You just had to press and hold the Odometer button while turning the ignition to Accessory on the 1st gen tC... hopefully it will be something similar for the FR-S/Celica/BRZ.

Sounds pretty nice, but there is no way to be sure these are actually sounds from this car so...

There's little reason for them to make this up. They'd ruin their reputation if they faked these so I doubt they went to such lengths to trick readers.

They had an actual test drive of the prototype so it makes perfect sense that they would have grabbed and posted some sound clips.

Any 2000s car made by Toyota corp will be able to do so, not only Scion line up, not sure about LFA.
