If you are going over 35, it doesnt matter what kind of bar you have. If under 35, either you werent paying attention or he wanted to get hit.

Also, I guess people shouldnt be lowering or raisng their vehicles either since that changes the impact point.... guess more lawyers to find blame. Dont get me started on motorcycles that dont even have bumpers.....

I will def be getting one.
And depending on the state you'd STILL be at fault, before the investigation even started. There are plenty of states where hitting a pedestrian, even when not in a marked crosswalk, is the driver's fault by law.

So please.. let me have my drift armor?
It's your car so do what you want. I honestly don't care, just like how I don't care when I see underglow neon on cars.

So instead of the stock one crumpling up and taking the blow.... Lets attach something that wont budge and will fuck the frame up..... making matters far far worse.

The fact that people should take responsibility and not blame someone else has absolutely nothing to do with the discussion in this country. We are a litigious society, bottom line. And I can assure you that even if the pedestrian is at fault for the collision and you're not in legal trouble (I assure you it is possible), the lawyer will claim that negligence of the owner caused more damage and hit you with a huge lawsuit. And probably win.

Going go jail for a short period of time while fault is sorted out on a non hit and run car vs pedestrian accident and having hope that it will be deemed that the pedestrian was negligent is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> going to jail for a long time for curb stomping an injured person because you have impulse control problems.

You're not understanding my point here. It's not that you're wrong, it's that you being wrong shows a lack of knowledge on the subject, which should throw up a red flag for you that messing with the structural engineering of a car when it COULD harm yourself, pedestrians, or other drivers may not be the best idea. Just the liability alone should be enough to scare anyone off. Not even just hitting a pedestrian, but if you ram into a car with this bar, the other lawyer will see offroad use only and start screaming negligence at the top of their lungs.

How are all these lawyers even knowing that you have it on there?
While Ive never been in any wrecks, I work with someone that got tboned back in Nov, there was def no hardcore rip a car apart investigation to see if they were oem parts or not.

If the vehicle inspections done by the insurance adjusters reveal abnormal damage (Such as a non-stock bumper beam punching right through the front bumper) they'll look into things a bit more. You can trust that they have a legal department just waiting to pass the buck if they can.

You underestimate how much a personal injury lawyer wants to get paid and how much an insurance company wants the other driver's company to pay. And if this thing does half of what it's supposed to, I assure you it'll be easy to tell that isn't a stock front end.

if you hit someone else prolly so, but odds are your gonna be at fault if you hit someone with your front end.
Either way its just opinions till it happens, and for me the benefits outweighs the risks. So Ill def be getting it here soon.

I have to agree with you, being morally right or wrong, I don't plan on hitting anything or anyone. And if that happens, knock on wood it doesn't, I'll accept the responsibility. And as of that, I'm done with the arguing on the internet

nice looking part, certainly for off road use only. This certainly is not a new concept i don't know why people are jumping all over it. I run something similar on my car, mine does look to be a bit more substantial. Mine is made of the same DOM material I make roll cages from.
