You mean Aux USB? I have plugged several things into the stereo jack. Oddly a friend of mine has an Outlander Sport, 2011 I believe, and he has this funky little Sony MP3 player that he loves, his factory deck supports play/pause (even from the steering wheel) and displays track listings on it's screen. Before that I had never seen a factory deck support anything but an iPod in that way. I should ask him to plug it into my HU and see what it does.

Anybody else got answers for all my other goofy questions? Thanks all!

yeah i guess, The AUX and USB have to be plugged to be used.

I cant use straight AUX on any mp3 device

Hey gang -

I think it is important that as many owners as possible ping Scion to report any problems, spec discrepancies, operational hiccups and/or general dissatisfaction with this unit. You may want to search previous threads to see similar issues, but you'll probably find that very few have been satisfactorily resolved. It seems to me that at least some of the BeSpoke's 'bugs' might be corrected with a long overdue firmware update. I'd also suggest pinging Pioneer directly as well, even though their tech support folks will most likely slough you off as slickly and quickly as they can. The BeSpoke's official designation for them is model number PT546-18130.

My personal problem with failure to transfer the phone's contact list - which I'm honestly surprised that no one else seems to have - seems to be a fairly common topic on other internet forums for other Pioneer units and phones.

My iPhone 5 gets plugged into the USB aux and nothing more. Works fine for music.

Is there any sign or rumors of android app compatability for this unit? It's pretty frustrating for many I'm sure and there are far more Android's than IOS phones nowadays.

I have basically been complacent with this thing for too long. Seeing my friends bespoke with his iPhone just set me off me f*ck apple and I can't believe how limited functionality I've been operating at. I'm calling that number but I'm gonna try and sell this ASAP.

I wasn't expecting too much from the Bespoke system. I'm glad I had tempered expectations from anything audio related with the label "premium" coming directly from the dealer. The main reason why I opted for the Bespoke system was for the 3 sets of pre-outs, so I could easily integrate my amps without the need to change the radio or use LOC.

Thanks Husker, I shot off an email about Bespoke through your link after spending a lot of time trying to hunt down ways to hack the thing or update the firmware. Why they don't have Android support (at least) is beyond me.

I think it's pretty dumb of them to put something that looks nice in the car, but has shit for functionality. Someone that works on these cars has stated that the 2014MY will come with an updated unit, Bespoke 2.0. I will give my dealer shit until they help me update, if this is true.

I didn't have the option of the base head unit because I really wanted a Whiteout and at the time, they were had to get. The only Fr-s I was able to get a hold of had this damn HU :/
