55" LED. It's gigantic in my room. It looks like too much, but it's so awesome.

Must be the the month for buying TVs. This was Mom and DadHawk's Valentine's Day present to each other. 70" Vizio Razor LED TV. Our old school 55" projection Mitsubishi HDTV had finally played its last movie so it was time for a new one.

FR-S shown near life size!

I need to remember to take a pic and show you and the rest of the TV fanatics here my friends TV. Cause their TV is huge and they've had it for at least a good 4 to 5 years now.

I need to get a better shot of the TV with a good camera. In person, the picture looks like you could just walk up to it and open the door and drive off.

Sounds like they have one of the Mitsubishi DLP TVs. Those are nice too, and we thought about one of those (they are less expensive) but we have a problem with ambient light that tends to wash them out.

This is a Vizio E-Series and is less than 3" thick in the middle, less than an inch at the edges. We got it at Sam's Club for @$1,600. I honestly can't believe how (relatively) inexpensive these big panels are.

We were looking at the Sharp Quattron and had been saving up to get a 60" version of that. In the end though, we decided we didn't care about 3D and we couldn't tell the difference in the picture when they were sitting side-by-side in the showroom so we opted for bigger instead.

Sharp has a 90" LED/LCD now (around $10,000!) that is just huge. I don't have a wall big enough for it. Plus you could buy 4 of these for the same price.

SonHawk had a party last weekend with all his friends over playing PS3/XBox/Wii stuff on the 70". In same-screen multiplayer each of four persons all have their own 35" TV!

Yes, its excessive. And no, I don't care....

Haha nice one-up. Looks good. I feel the same way about mine. It's in my bedroom and just looks way too big, but it's awesome.

Also, mine was $742 after taxes, not that I was asked. But oh well haha.
