Yeah, that's the plan. Wonder why it's ok to ship to Alberta but not Ontario? Strange. Oh well, not much I can do about it. Might make it hard to order engine oil from the same place I got it from last time.

I ordered mine from www.eEuroparts.com. 3 liters came out to $104.06 total cost delivered to my door, $54 for the oil and $50 to ship. Pretty quick shipping, 9 days. No problems what so ever. This was in December.

Did you then have to pay tax on it? That might be a decent option.

I do find it a little funny how upset everyone got that they came into the thread and found that someone's transmission hadn't blown up. Schadenfreude indeed! lol.

Just because it hasn't....doesn't mean it won't.

Thanks for the kind words? I don't think I've done anything that will likely blow up my transmission but I guess you never know.

Hey, you wanted schadenfreude you got it. I'm waiting to see how this fluid does with more abuse as it IS thinner. Though the quality (Motul) fluids in our viscosity not improving shifting by much is discouraging.

Hahaha. The one encouraging thing is that quality synthetic oils have been able to hold their weight and thus start with something thinner while still protecting well. And I know what you mean, I used Motul in my WRX and it worked really well but with the cold shifting it just hasn't made near the difference I was hoping for. After my order for Pentosin got seized I took it as a sign to wait since I'm kinda broke right now. Need to catch back up so I'm probably going to wait a while, but plan to definitely switch over before next winter.

I work in the commercial mechanical industry and I can tell you right now that getting paint and oil across the border is next to impossible UNLESS you have special permission to do so.

We avoid it as a company but we have locations in NY and ON so we both stock them. If a US customer needs it, our NY warehouse ships it out.

Your oil is as good as gone. Unfortunately, by law you still have to pay for it because usually most vendors are FOB their warehouse (freight on board - meaning, once it leaves their dock, it's yours) so if it gets seized along the way, it was yours.

Sorry bud.

Yeah, Steve at Esoteric informed me that it was seized and that it was gone for good but seeing as how it wasn't my fault he reimbursed my money, which was very upstanding of him. Made for a very pleasant interaction with him and made me sorry I can't do more business with him. (Seeing as how he can't ship most of what I would want to buy from him to me anyways) But if I lived in the States I would deal with him again in a heartbeat.

Hey fellas. The Pentosin and Motul have been selling like crazy.
Thanks for the kind words A5DTRYR.
I have been helping people with setup world wide for almost 6 years now. The only thing that's changed is our crew decided to focus on the FRS /BRZ exclusively

Canada has been a very popular desitnation from us. We sold about 4 guys oil and about half of it got sized. I did reimburse fully both parties who's oil was seized, and just got a slap on the wrist.

Canada shipping: Parts OK! Oil... No bueno.
