My wife actually talked me into the car. At first I was all "Scion, and <200 HP, No way!"

Then she got me to actually go look at one, and the next thing I know, I have one on order, lol. She is also very proud of the fact that she is helping me decide the direction I take the mods, and will be learning to drive a manual to track it when I Start tracking it.

I picked it up in Victoria. I wasn't planning on picking another one up, but it just so happens, I couldn't pass up on this one.

Fiancée was driving my truck, someone pulled out in front of her. Totaled. So when I said I was buying an fr-s there wasn't really an argument, perfect timing

My wife wasn't happy, but it's not like she makes my decisions and she knows that. She agrees to disagree basically. Her main point is that I've had 5 cars in 5 years, and that I try to "sell" her on each one. My only restriction (and this is something I agree with) is that the car has to have some sort of back seat. We have a 2.5 year old daughter, and another little one on the way. They won't ever go in the BRZ, but if ever in case of emergency.

I ordered ours before our wedding in hopes that we'd get to drive off in it to the reception but it came later than expected. I didn't tell my husband as I wanted it to be a gift to both of us, I was trading in my car for it and thought we would share the brz...
From the moment he saw it he knew who's it really was.
He's driven it twice.

My wife said why do you need another car, I said turn around and close your eyes. I drove her over her fat pig body.

Problem solved.

I put a deposit down and placed the order for my BRZ on the spur of the moment when I was in at my Subaru dealership for service on our Forester. A car carrier pulled up and they took one off for a local auto show. It was the first time I had seen one in the flesh and I was smitten. I called my wife and told her what I had done on the way home. She didn't throw too much of a fit. She said it would count as my father's day gift and birthday present last year. It helped that I had just bought her a new car six months before.

I went to the dealership to test drive, the dehorsed me for a day. I tested the waters by telling both my mom and my girlfriend that I bought it. They both loved it, so I signed the papers the next day.

I was shopping for a new Camry or Avalon and it was my wife's suggestion that I get the FRS. She now wants her own Firestorm to match my Asphalt.

Her killjoy friend still has a problem with it; some people can't stand to see someone else have fun.
My wife gets her eared chewed off about cars all the time cuz of me... so yes, she was consulted just by default. However, when it came down to the purchase she backed me up totally. She's happy that I have a car I don't hate.

Plus it helps we bought her a new car first.

Now instead of two unreliable old BMWs, we only have one. So yes, my gf is happy that we can now leave the house without having to consider which car would encounter less problems specific to the journey at hand. Unfortunately, I got rid of my E34, so now between her E21 and my FR-S we have about as much combined storage space as the old 5. But then that's why we always keep a friend with a truck.

Didn't need to consult with my g/f - her view on cars is "Long as it has wheels and gets me somewhere I don't care" but she's pretty happy to see what this purchase has done for me and is looking forward to her chance to ride in it

My wife was consulted because that's just what you do when you go drop twenty-six large on something. That being said, she was excited for me. I'd never owned a new car in my life - we'd bought her car new a few years ago and she was very happy to say it was my turn.
