I don't think you'll want a bigger rear bar IMHO. Other than possibly making the car too loose, the diff won't like it.

In short yes. I would consider putting the stock rear bar on after you do the coilovers too.

EDIT: Max and typed the same thing more or less

Has anyone sourced some centering rings for this bar?

More are coming. As for locking collars, if you want them I can get them but we designed the bar to bend right at the bushing so you shouldn't need them. If you wan them, you can find them at most super home stores like a Lowes. 7/8" ID and run them inboard of bushings....

And more are coming, and it won't take long since all the early glitches are worked out.

Sam, on a car that has the stock struts and springs, running 225/45 tires on the stock wheels. Do you think its a worthwhile upgrade to do the front bar before coil overs? Or should I wait for coil overs and see how the car handles for me?

Well, a bar is certainly a lot more cost effective. But you are kind of comparing apples and oranges.

I can tell you that the way every coil-over setup comes (spring rate wise), I'd put a front bar on with any of them. I have KW's with a stiffer front/softer rear setup than they come, and still run my front bar.

Hah, yea I do realize that its a backwards comparison. I only ask because I'm curious of the effect a larger front sway is going to have with the stock springs and strut.
Its more of a monetary mattery. I can't afford to buy coilovers right now, but other than seat time I would like to continue prepping my car for STX.

I may still consider the Koni's as I just read your other post about coilovers.

Thanks for your response though.

I would defintely highly recommend the bar on a stock setup. It helps a lot controlling front roll, and taming the back end when you autocross.

I have over an inch between the bushings and the bend in the bar, allowing the bar to slide back and forth quite a bit. Rings will be necessary.

That was my experience. My bar kept moving all the way to the passenger side, and at near full steering lock the tire (passenger side) would rub the bar badly (245/40-17 Star Spec, 17x8-45mm wheel). A 10 minute drive around town was sufficient to get the bar to move over an inch laterally.

I ordered a pair of collars from Amazon, $17 with prime shipping.

Here's a link, they're about $5 each from McMaster-Carr (other places have them too). Remember you want a 7/8" ID, two-piece collar. http://www.mcmaster.com/#split-shaft-collars/=ljtsd3

I will look into getting them included in the next batch (in fact I already made the call).

Interesting, I think my 2nd gen? bar there is no space between the bend and the bushing. In fact the bend starts before the end of the bushing with the bar centered so the bushing is a little pinched. I haven't had any problems with it moving.
