...also..... wagons are a mans car. Over 70% of buyers of wagons are male. (not to be confused with SUVs)

What men think when they hear wagon -

What women think when they hear wagon -

I do love me some wagons lol, I have a '79 malibu wagon in almost exactly this (after 30 years of fading) shade of baby vomit yellow, because it was a hell of a deal with a factory 4 speed mated to a V8

its not bad at all. considering the v8s are usually aluminum and the bp in the miata is steel, you dont gain much weight. combine that with the need for a much beefier diff, axles, driveshaft, brakes etc, and there is usually a small offset.

The styling is the only thing that is feminine about the Miata. The twins went with a more aggressive shape and style and I love how the FR-S is angry and sharp looking. Just because a car is sleek looking doesn't mean it has to look feminine. The FR-S and the pre 2013 Gencoupe proves this and that's why both cars are my favorite looking affordable coupes. I think the MX5 should've looked like a Saturn Sky before the Sky was design. The Sky was more sharper and edgier and it looked like a baby Corvette. Sharper lines is the right element for sleek cars and I hope the ND Miata finally gets some sharp edginess in its design.

I absolutely miss my Miata and if the timing and funds are right, I would love to pick up another one on the side.

I used to think and go with the crowd that the miata was a girly car many years ago. At some point though i started to like them but preferred NBs. I didn't trully start to love NAs though and was pretty focused on getting an NB until i saw my NA i purchased last November and every time i've looked at it since i love it even more. I always thought that NAs were pretty blobby looking but when you actually look at them in person there are a lot of beautiful classic looking lines that are completely missed if you look at them in pictures or in quick glances. Even now pictures really don't do the NA justice. I can look at them all day long but when i see her in the flesh it's completely different.

Has anyone else had this reaction?

Yes! That would have been sick.

Tried to get a video of my FRS and Miata on opposite sides going around but my buddy wasn't real comfortable with the idea. We'll get one probably after I get my konis and new clutch on my na. Its pushing the front end pretty hard. Stock setup is soooffttt
