Is yours a Premium or a Limited? Not sure if that was a Limited only option or not.

Oh shit. Yeah it should come with the USB port! I'd notify your dealer.

Edit: Then again, I don't know what's standard in Canadian models if that's where you got yours.

I picked up my Limited this weekend. It came with a USB port by default. It isn't only USB you are missing. That missing outlet has something else too (12v out?)

It either is or isn't a default option for the canadian limited. If you bought it and it isn't correct, I would give them the opportunity to make it right first.

You have the Canadian version, so it's in the glovebox (read the owners manual! lol).

Weird. Why is it in the glovebox? Also, is it possible to add a usb connection in the glovebox to US cars?

No idea. But I find it super convenient to throw an MP3 player in the glovebox and it's out of sight without wires being visible.

Correct, both the USB and the AUX are in the glove box. I was a little disappointed they didnt reuse the space in the center console for us canadian folk and instead leaving it look awkwardly deleted out.. But on the brighter side, i personally prefer it in the gloze box. Less wires visible.

My USB port is practically useless. It does not provide enough volts to charge our cell phones.

Yes the USB and aux port is in the glovebox. Completely normal don't worry.

cool deal, sort of...

that block off plate looks akward, in US spec cars you have usb and audio input (3.5mm Jack) in that location.

It's cool that there may be a factory harness to get a USB plug in the GloveBox but it kinda sucks that Canadia, gets an extra akward block off plate. I remember my Dad's 944s2 had a bunch of rocker switch block offs in the center console and as a child I always equated that to not buying a car with all the options (or cheap in my perception)...in reality it probably had more to do with it being a lightweight car ordered by a gentleman for autocross use.

but to buy a new car (with all the options) and get block off plates...silly really...
