I hope this horror story turns out well for you.

To many vultures (I mean car dealers) prey on customers emotions and stiff them without the customer doing adequate research.

Get out of the deal, get all your money back, they're a bad dealership, don't let them think they can get away with it. You will be able to buy another one of these, they aren't rare.

Email is sent, I blocked a lot of the personal info but mine will have cost of car at $25,255, only thing added after that is taxes/reg, dealer doc fee (still pissed about that) and interest cots.

Definitely cancel the deal, and say f**k this dealership. Go to another dealership. I wouldn't even want to deal with them at all, making you show someone elses contract in order to get the deal that your supposed to get (MSRP)? I say BS. At the end of the day, the sales people dont really make much off Scions, so that 3k mark up is quite lovely for them. They gotta do their job, that's understandable, but you are exactly who they want walking into their dealerships. Not people like me, lol!

the only good thing about living in California is the weather. Everything else is so expensive.

I'll send you mine also. Just keep in mind, my numbers were different, based on the fact that I had a trade in and an addon

It's ok, we live and we learn. Just make sure to cancel the deal and go to another dealership.

Fuck that, how did you get suckered into paying that much? Did you do ANY research on the car before paying out and signing?
You knew enough to join the forum about the car...

with 3 grand you could:
  • buy coilovers and wheels
  • buy a BRZ Limited instead
  • invest the money somewhere, etc

If anyone can do me the favor, it will help me save maybe a couple thousands. Your info can be blurred out, just need a reference.

i didnt read the thread so maybe u got helps already but I'll give u my input if haven't.. is 30k taxed and fees? if the contract states that the alarm+warranty =1800.. and there are unknown added fee (aka markup fee) you can contact scion and tell them that your dealer has been ripping you off.. there's no such thing as "markup" for frs and the only thing they can do is overcharge you with the warranty and alarm that you bought,,.
I've talked to couple of dealers when i was looking for a frs and they all told me that I can report the dealership if there's a markup.
Where did you buy your car?

Basically I'm buying the car for about 30000 not including the alarm and gap, in the end Im getting charged for about 34,000 with taxes, gap, 750000 warranty, and alarm. After that I put down a down payment of 4000 and its still 30000 grand and I'm getting financed for 30k!!! Instead with some help i might able to revise the car to back down to 25-26k so I won't get 3k out of my pocket along with the 3k of financing. If you can send in your contract as well along with the list of add ons then it help me out give a solid case. I again thank you for the input as well.

Didn't think life could be a b**ch if you don't get the facts straight :\
