I have a great playlist going. I love making a playlist where I don't feel like skipping any of the songs.

Me too. I actually have a 'driving music' playlist that I am always changing.

Although recently I felt like I have been missing a lot of songs on my ipod, so I have just been listening to all of the songs. I love it when I get a song I haven't heard in a while, it's a great surprise! It's like "whoa, I forgot I had that song"

The nannies don't always keep you in shape.

I had an instance where I didn't see the big salt deposit at the entrance to my work, and well, that shit is just as bad as ice if there is too much of it. I completely lost the rear end. I just eased off the gas and counter-steered (going maybe 25-30mph). Thankfully there was no one coming the other way, and since the entrance is designed for big rigs it's probably 3-4 lanes wide. So I had plenty of space.

Aside of my WRX I've always driven unassisted cars.. so the nannies on mine actually kinda get in my way sometimes. Another thought I had was along the lines of what happened to you. The car uses the front brakes to limit the rear moving around.. but what if the front has less traction than the rear at time of loss??

On an unassisted car you could use more throttle to steer with the rear or just ride the slide until the car settles out and bites in again.. but .. with the computer kicking in it really does limit what you can do. So far I ride with them on just because it stops me from shredding rear tires (got the snows on still) .. but I have my reservations about how well it would work if the entire car is on a super low grip surface.

@serialk11r

You on WUS?

I've recently developed an irrational desire for a Jaegre LeCoultre Master Geographic. This is somewhat (okay, very) insane. But I signed up on WUS on the weekend to see what else was out there and, er... a thread I posted a bit in got locked, un-stickied, and two members got bans handed down, one of which may have been a site sponsor. No ban for me.

Is it always that, er, chaotic over there? Or is it my (somewhat) tactful intolerance for deceitful vendors (expressed a few times here, too)?

Picked up a 2000 Honda Civic LX 5 speed for my daily driver. Love how nimble and peppy it is.

RIP early Hondas.

I bet the Civic would get stolen first if both the Civic and BRZ were parked outside, lol.
