It might be a similar 6-pot but the rotors and pads are very different for the STi version.

Looks very expensive. I guess for those guys competing in time attack battles, this is ok. But with 200hp, talk about overkill lol. Do these ever reach temp?

Yeah, they do cost a pretty penny, but the quality is there for sure, and would be great for someone looking for or needing brakes of this caliber. Overkill? You know it LOL. The Brembo GT kit will come with the Ferodo FM1000 brake pads, which are very close in specs to the Ferodo DS2500, so they should have an effective operating range around 60-1040°F. Even with pure street use, you can still use these pads every day. They sure like to dust, but other than that, we have been very pleased with the pads, and the brake kit as a whole.

Thanks,
Rick

HAHA they were already dirty right after the bed in procedure, and you are right, they do require a bit more time to keep them looking nice. Though on something like this, I don't mind at all

Thanks,
Rick

I would imagine there will be more offerings here in the future, but we can get in the complete GT line up specific for these cars at the moment as there are a few options within these kits. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Rick

Does the stock master cylinder move enough fluid for all those pistons? How is the pedal feel?

Brembo does extensive research before releasing kits to ensure that the proportioning valve balance front to rear along with master cylinder sizes are proper for the kits to make sure these components do not need to be replaced with the kits.
As for pedal feel, they pedal travel is not effected in anything that could be felt as noticeable. Also being that the calipers are much stiffer then stock, the pedal does not need to be pressed as hard either to get the same "bite". However that can also be contributed to the fact that the compound of the pads is also much better then stock as well.

Overall there is not a single downside to this kit, other then a slight increase in sprung weight as you can imagine. But that is a given with any kit that used a caliper and brake system that is that much bigger then stock.
