some JDM extender (around 1 inch longer) with Team Voodoo shift knob.

shift is smoother due to the extra length. i can still lift the reverse lock with one hand.

Did it take you a while to get used to the extra length?

Had to measure my hand now between 19cm and 20cm

You know what they say about guys with big fingers and hands......

We can have big Knobs

not really. i like how it's closer to the steering wheel and the extra distance between the shift is quite minor as stock is pretty short.

Bringing up and old post, but do you have the whole short shifter or just an aftermarket lockout ring?

Approximately 60-90g heavier than the stocker; shift quality improved while some shift feeling lost. Not a negative for me, as I wanted to feel a little less of the synchros catching. Shift engagement is still positive on the whole, with less effort put into making sure I'm in the gate.
