Odd question for you folks...

When you guys got your cars, did you have that blue plastic wrap around the steel strips set in rubber in the door frame?

I ask because I was given the "option" of removing it myself and after having no problem with the passenger side, during the initial removal on the driver side I gave the plastic wrap a good tug [not RAAAAAAAAAAAGH! DESTROY! power mind you, just a firm tug] and it popped/bent the steel strip end up >_<

Going to visit the dealer in the morning and see if they can replace that, since it looks like it's a completely separate rubber/steel item that pops into the bottom of the door frame.

Just was wondering if you guys had to remove it yourselves as well or if the dealer did it.

The dealer removed it without asking me. The only plastic that was still on was the one on my dead pedal

Same with me. Only my dead pedal had it. It took me a while for me to notice it.

I recently noticed that there is some type of plastic film looking thing on the B-pillar. I did not try to peel it off, but it looks like it will.
