There's quite a few of those running around. Put my winter tires on in December...it wasn't snowing but the stock tires in 20-30 degree temps in the wet is just scary.

That happens if you're trying to gain muscle. Unless you really want to shed pounds, then skip the high protein shakes for the diet versions, switch to lighter weights, go for more reps, do as much cardio as you can, and you'll see more dramatic results. Obviously it can be a pain in the beginning, but be persistent.

I agree that not everyone gets a "high" by working out. I wouldn't say I do, but I feel more pumped, focused, and ready for anything after a session at the gym. That's why I find it important to make sure whom ever I help training knows that everyone has a different pace.

I guess i don't mind gaining weight, so long as it's from muscle and not fat. It doesn't matter to me as long as i'm getting less fat. But man, i never feel pumped, focused or ready-- i feel burdened, sweaty and winded. :P

If I was you, I'd work on conditioning first and it also helps out to have some music (you like) that will mentally push you through your workout.
