Okay, so I remapped the UniChip as well as the display for 92 Octane, DropInFilter and Cat Back

1-Base (Works OK)
2-TimingIn (Works Great - Driving on this for ~2 weeks)
3-TimingInFuelIn (Currently set to try this one out for a week)
4-TimingInFuelOut (Will try this one out after 3- for a week)
5-Immobilizer (Daily Parking Discipline)

Thanks UniChip!

Driving today. TimingIn with FuelIn sux. Loss of power.

Though TimingIn with FuelOut seems ok so far.

Sorry, I'm a little confused on what the different maps consist of? Specifically the timing in/out fuel in/out. Could you add some color? The fedex guy wouldn't leave my package so I'm going to pick it up from a location tomorrow. I'm going to get a baseline dyno in prior.

It’s not surprised the Fuel In/Timing In map produces less power in a particular car… all that means is that particular car can't use the extra timing and extra fuel.

For clarity… a specific car wants a specific amount of fuel and timing to make optimum power… too much or too little in either direction decrease power. Most cars will run best with the Fuel Standard/Timing Standard maps, but a few may want just a bit more or less of one or the other variable.

If your car is “just right” with the Fuel Standard/Timing Standard map, you’d expect to lose power by changing things. If, on the other hand, that car ran a bit too little fuel and a bit too little timing with the Standard/Standard map, you’ll see an improvement with the Fuel In/Timing In map.

If your car feels about the same with the Fuel Out/Timing In map as it does with the Standard/Standard map, either your car sits somewhere between the two or the difference is there but too subtle to feel during a pull. If you narrow things down to two maps that feel the best or produce the best times, I’d choose the one with more fuel and less timing just to be conservative.

The best way to select maps is with a wideband O2 sensor and a scan tool… we’ll put out a document to outline the different ways to approach choosing a map.

Cheers

Like to see a good comparison between ECUTek and Unichip when it comes to dyno charts and who can offer the best tune will win. Wish there was a tuner software out there to allow us to calibrate our own tables.

there is, this software along with brz/edit

I will be dynoing my car (I had a dyno session scheduled, but the shop's dyno was giving off funky readings). I will be going back sometime later next month when I get back from syracuse
