Hey guys/gals...first post.

I have been looking at a Crystal Black Pearl BRZ limited with 6 speed manual ...MSRP $28678. Dealer is willing to sell for $25,634 + tax.. a little over 3 grand off..anyone got a deal like this? Seems like they are selling it for a loss..I'm in Maine so this isn't a good season for them lol..

I was wondering if anyone knew what the true wholesale price is on this car..I don't know how they are selling it so cheap but it's a hell of a deal it seems..I just don't know if I like the car that much compared to a 328i.

Thanks for any opinions

That's less than a BRZ Premium my god, I can't think of any other RWD sub-30k car that has the same amount of features as the BRZ Limited. Jump on it!!

Was it a floor model/test drive model? How many miles? Aside form that, looks like a great deal.

12 miles?! That's a great offer! Do they have another one selling at that price?!

Liberty Subaru in New Jersey have no markups and are relatively quick when it comes to getting a BRZ special ordered (mine came in within a month)

I just put a deposit down yesterday on a car coming in around the 2/25. We agreed on a price of $89 over invoice. This was a Premium with 1A and a spoiler, which puts invoice at $25,796 and MSRP at $27,255. I'm having to catch a 2 hour flight, and drive 8.5 hours home, but it's worth it, since there are no BRZ's in the Kansas City area, and the only ones coming in are Limiteds that will sell at MSRP. I guess the market for the BRZ has cooled off in some places...

I was just about to buy an FR-S (there are plenty of those around town), until I had a chance to test drive a BRZ just before someone else came in and bought it. I believe Scion dealers can't deviate from the Pure Price, which means this BRZ is going to cost me $111 more than a comparably equipped (with spoiler) FR-S. Getting HID's and standard Navigation for $111 is a no-brainer in my book. Plus, I'm 37, and even though it's just a name, Scion still seems like a young kid's car to me...

Olathe has two BRZs in stock. The costs of a plane ticket and 8.5 hour drive sure cut into any savings. Can't hurt to talk to them.

Actually, there are none in town, but the Olathe dealer has a Limited coming. I didn't figure they'd budge, but when they called me yesterday to check up on me, and I told them I had found one at invoice out of state, they started negotiating. They came down some, but not enough. My plane ticket is $80. And a road trip is a fun way to start a relationship with a car...

I got my WRB BRZ Limited for around $27k, and it has the homelink mirror with compass, and the rear bumper applique and the chrome gas cover. So like $2000 under MSRP or invoice.
Around here is San Antonio, they wanted $2000 over MSRP.

Shop around because there are deals out there. Also my car was made in November 2012 and was in route to the dealer from Japan, no sitting on the lot. You can have a BRZ carrier shipped for about $500 using Diamond Express to just about anywhere in the US.

Look north at Denver or Chicago. There are dealers with 10 to 15 BRZ's sitting on the lot or incoming to their inventory.

You're right on with Denver; that's where mine is coming in later in the month. Minneapolis is good, too. From Kansas City, both locations are a cheap flight, and a 7-8 hour drive... I still might look into having the car hauled, though...
